I made a banana loaf.
Only I forgot to adjust BOTH the time and the heat.   It sort of started to burn.  

I was using a "normal recipe" (my grandmother's that calls for butter and eggs)  but when I went to get the butter, I realized too late I didn't have enough.  So instead,  I made it vegan with oil in place of the butter and eggs.

I remembered to turn the heat down,  just forgot to change the timeframe.   Recipe calls for 50minutes on 350 degrees.   
I had it on 250 for only 30minutes and it was burning when I went to check on it.

Always remember to adjust both the heat and time when making vegan food.
