Weirdness. Don't you hate it when the internet burps? You know what I mean, my lovely Spudguns!, when you're doing something online, like blogging, or chatting, or watching episodes of Supernatural on Netflix, and suddenly everything freezes on you, and you realize that it's the internet having gone out.
Damn I hate that.
And what's up with wrestler Seth Rollins's hair? Dude, please, pick one colour and stick with it.

GetGlue killed itself
Okay, a year and a half ago, I was researching a movie for my little movie a day project, and stumbled upon GetGlue. How, by seeing the "check in to get this sticker" button.
It was cool. Cute even, you got to talk about books, movies, music, and a ton of other topics with other fans, and you got stickers for it.
Stickers.
Who doesn't love that right? Kids of all ages like that.
As of this afternoon, you can no longer get stickers from there. As of next week, you can no longer talk about books, music, and random topics. Like say an actor, or writer, or the weather. You can only talk about a few tv shows and movies.
And no stickers.
Okay, yes, it's just stickers, we're not saving the world. But, you know what, it brought thousands of people together, talking, trading them, comparing how popular certain episodes were and why, some of them identified by just the latest sticker picture (cause not all episodes titles were available) And it was a good way for many to know when a show was not on. You had the chance to find out about movies months ahead of time, by the stickers that were available under the "coming soon."
In the last hour since the GetGlue company made their announcements, they have lost close to 2000 users. In a frealing hour!
So, yes, it's not the end of the world, but for so many of us, it's the end of a really great original social site and the lost of friends.

Nov 4th 2013 continued
Mercury goes direct in a few days. That was my mistake for anyone who follows that part of the program. Sorry guys, my screw up.
Mercury goes direct on Nov 10th.
This is what I get for blogging in a rush. Mistakes.
But, yesterday was a solar eclipse and new moon.
Okay, I need a really big big coffee to clear my cobwebbed brain.

Nov 4th 2013
A date, not one of my cute titles. Just today's date. Which means, it's been a month since I last checked in on this here bloggy blog.
I've been hanging out all the time on my movie blog. Working on the serial. Nothing fancy.
Wrestling... clearly not happy with the Shield loosing their belts in WWE.
And been catching up with TNA in the last while. I still haven't seen last week's episode, but otherwise, good to see Sabin and Styles both with belts. Like I said, haven't seen last week's episode so the last episode I saw from two weeks ago they had belts.
Mercury has gone direct, but Jupiter just went retro. To be honest, I am too lazy to research how that will effect stuff.
The Hallowe'en season is officially over. Makes me sad. My favourite time of the year. Which means, we are heading into a new year. Depending on what you follow, your new year might have started already, as that is what Samhain is pretty much. The Celtic/Wiccan new year.
With that said, what do I think I might have learned this past year? Not to make too many big plans. Every time I would get into a project this year, it fell flat. From my all vampire year project to a few crafting things to other mundane ideas, nothing really panned out for me this year.
Even my blogging hasn't been what it used to be. It totally got away from me. Days, weeks er...even a few times this past year where a full month went by without me blogging. Honestly, don't know if that means I'm learning to be pickier on what I talk about or if it just means I had other areas to outlet? Both maybe?
Okay my lovely Spudguns! that's enough blabbing for one rainy cold afternoon.

Wrestlers and hair
So, was watching this week's Raw, and I have to once again make the comment, what the hell is it with the wrestling industry and long hair on men? I would love nothing more then to see Aaron Neville vs Bo Dallas in a hair vs hair match. Either way, it would be a win whomever had to take a foot off their do.
And would it kill Stephanie McMahon to have an updo just once? A bun, or a twist, or even a ponytail?
And with that said... morning my Spudguns!
We are heading into the last mercury retro for the year, sometime this month. The planet mercury turns retrograde three times a year, causing all sorts of havoc with computers, travel, messages and communications in general.
New season of tv this week. So far, I'm loving Sleepy Hollow, Dads and Blacklist.
I'm not a fan of sitcoms. Really can't stand them. Which is why, last year when I was stuck on my mother's sofa with my knee injury, and ended up having the show The Big Bang Theory, sort of stuffed down my throat; I shocked myself by liking it. Totally addicted to it.
I'm finding the new show Dads, to have a similar addiction. There might be hope for sitcoms yet, well as far as I'm concerned.
My thing is sci-fi/drama. Really looking forward to the premiere of Dracula later in the month, and the remake of Ironside, which starts tonight.
Okay, that's my view this morning from the bottom of my coffee cup.

Spudguns!
So I caught last night's WWE Raw, and thought I would say something on it...here and not on my current wrestling blog because I posted last night on the wrestling blog and this blog needs some love. I was disappointed with how the Randy Orton vs Dustin Rhodes match was done. I thought for sure that it was going to be done as a more serious piece. Thought it would have had a better sense of weight had he wrestled without the paint and in a pair black trunks or track pants.
Food... I've been obsessed with tortilla soup for the last few weeks. Done like five different versions of the recipe.
Books...I made it to chapter 9 of "Immortal Instruments City of Bones" and that then got stuck. It's sort of boring. Really hoping the movie; if I ever get a chance to see it, will inspire me to finish reading it. Here's hoping eh?
Other... The planets have been shifting like crazy the last month, and many of you will notice things in your life shifting as well. It's like information overload happening for many of us.
Honestly, I had a bunch of things that I wanted to talk about, but once I got in here and started typing, it just didn't feel right. I can't totally say that I'm blogging less, because that's not true. I'm blogging all the time on my movie blog. That's where the majority of my blog time is spent.
Like I said, many people will start to notice things shifting in your life, and for me, right now, I'm re-examining my values.
Hallowe'en is on it's way. Trying to figure out something for the blogging week of Hallowe'en this year. Hopefully something that I haven't done already. Sometimes hard to do when you've been blogging forever.

Dude heat stroke
The heat index has been over the hill top here last week. Today, we are currently sitting at a +25C with a humidex of +33C. And it's suppose to get worse, and it's only 11am!
Damn eh?
I just ran in for a moment, because I haven't written on this blog in a few weeks. Getting ready for a doctor's appointment, they are never ending in my life. and always an all day field trip, my doctor is very popular. His waiting room is always overflowing.
But, yes, I've seen more medic vans in the neighbourhood in the last few days taking people with heat exposure issues then I have in the last three years. It's bad here. I really don't understand how people can handle living in really hot places on the planet?
anyways, that's the ramble for this morning.

Domestically Damned...with coffee
Spudguns!
I'm in a swell and spiffy mood today. Got a new vampire movie this week. Yay! Kiss of the Damned. I briefly talked about it on my vampire themed blog the other day.
Speaking of movies...the movie blog has been where I've been spending all my time the last few weeks. I've been trying to post every day. Working on the once short now turned uber long serial story...The Nosferatu Adventures.(my own personal written soap opera) And today did a Quote of the Day plus a Top 5 Favs.
I haven't done either of those types of posts in a while so it was like bonus rounds today with the blog. That blog has sort of become what this blog was originally meant to be. The blog.
The rest of the time, I've been scrapbooking. I hope to have some photos of that at some point soon. Few crafting projects on the go at the moment.
And yeah, I really really need some new photos of me too.
Hope you're all having a groovy afternoon!

Sunday July 21
Planet notes... Mercury turned direct yesterday. You know, how the last three weeks you've found your messages a bit wonky, traffic accidents high, computer and other electronics having hissy fits on you. Well, that was why. Mercury did it's retrograde act the last few weeks. Now, things will start to smooth out a bit again. Always remember folks, Mercury retro happens three times a year.
So as I said the other day, been doing a lot of writing. Which is great my lovely Spudguns! After like two and a half years of being stuck, I've been on major writing rolls the last four months. Like a clogged drain that's finally unclogged.
And for those who were following my knee injury, I took the bus the other day for the first time without the cane. Which means, pretty much cane free now. Wish I could say I was pain free, but you know.
So yes, main reason for this was the Mercury note.

Do we ever really have anything to say
Been writing. Working on the second draft of my latest novel, and working on the Nosferatu Adventures on my movie blog.
And stirring up the pot on a social website I'm part of. Trying to get people to think about something in a pure form. It's not working. They just want to jibber about nothing, they want fluff when they talk.
The pot refuses to be stirred. But it needs it, sitting there all still with a strange waxy skin on it that pots get when they are on low heat.
The pot needs to be stirred...

Random Wed
You with me? Hey?
Spudguns! How is everyone on this lovely Wednesday? Beauty.
You ever get those strange emails from unknown people trying to sell you on linking their crap to your sites? I get those like four times a week. People and companies trying to get me to sign up to their social groups to expand my product or link to their site to sell their dren.
I hate that.
The one I got just now, was informing me that my content was not relevant. Uh, relevant to what? The thing they were trying to get me to link for them it would seem, cause the last time I checked this was my personal blog and everything on here was about me, therefore relevant to me and the handful of fiendish-gremlins that read me.
Are you feeling that shock-treatment? Groovy.
So yeah, I needed to rant.
But on a lighter note, remember the movie blog I've been chugging away at for the last year and a half? Sure you do, don't lie now. Well, been chugging away on it the last few days. Added a new post on the Top 5 lists, and some new chapters to the Nosferatu Adventures.
You're going to love it! Seriously, man, I wouldn't steer you wrong. Less of course you were trying to sneak the last cookie, in that case I would just smash your hands with a rolling pin.

Strangeness and weird vibes
Blah! It's been one of those days.
Okay, I got really tired of having to go and clean up spam comments on some of my older blogs that I haven't used in forever, mostly because of that one stalker few years ago. But anyway, I decided to close to the public a few of those old blogs. Some were easier to decide to privatize then others. Some I really sat there debating on, but in the end it just made sense.
Cause we all hate spam right!
Unless you're talking about the canned meat, then only us Vegetarians hate it.
Okay, here's another one of my oddities I want to spring on you all. If you've been following me even a little over the years online, you know that I am a Vegetarian. Have been for 12 years now. And if by some crazy chance, you knew me before that point in life, in the real world, you would be scratching your head wondering how I -me Ardeth Blood- ever managed to be a Vegetarian for one week let alone the last 12 years?
Here's the thing. I'm stuck now needed to go one way or the other. Because the last few years I've been unable to work out, the weight I've put on is just... the reason there are no updated photos of me to be honest. But, I need to either go completely Vegan, which means no eggs, no cheese, no milk, no breads, no pastas... or go back to being a Carnivore...well actually an Omnivore.
The last year alone, because of the knee injury and not being able to get around the kitchen to cook, I ate a steady diet of frozen french fries and veggie pizza. Which sort of made me a Carbotarian... and oh my god it is a real thing being a Carbotarian...Holy Pots and Pans Batman! I thought I had sort of made up the idea in a joke, course I spelled it bit different but damn it, just looked it up and it's a real dietary choice. Freal me man.
Where was I? Oh right, the dietary swing.
Is it easier to go totally Vegan or go back to being an Omnivore after that amount of time? At this point, after 12 years, if there is so much as something made with lard (animal fat shorting) or gelatin or chicken/beef broth in something, my insides are messed up for two days.
So I suppose I am asking those of you foodies who might be reading this, is it easier to switch completely to Vegan or to eating meat? Cause right now, switching dietary choice is the only way I'm going to be able to kick start my body again, since I still can not work out. Hell, I can't even get up a flight of stairs without a cane right now. And the extra weight is not helping the bad knee.
Yes an old photo, but damn it, I look cute here.

Sunday June 9th
Been a bit since I posted on this here blog, my lovely Spudguns! Have you missed me? Of course you have.
The reason I haven't said much, is because there hasn't been much to say.
I've been trying to get back to cooking and working on recipes in the last few weeks. Didn't realize just how much I missed it after last year of not being able to stand in the kitchen because of the knee.
Okay, confession time. I've missed the last 4 episodes of TNA Impact. I know I know, you're thinking "what the freal man? You never miss TNA!" Well, I have, and it seems, I missed a ppv too. So for those of my TNA Spudguns! who were checking in on the weekend of the ppv last week for my usual love note telling you to be safe, I'm sorry.
This is what happens when you get off track with the ppvs, it leads to fans getting off track with the ppvs. I know going with a small ppv list for the year is good in the long run, but when there is like four months between them...well I missed it okay.
And to wrap it up... Happy Birthday to actor Johnny Depp, who turns 50 today. Can you believe it? The world's hottest heartthrob is 50! Dude must be a vampire, cause he doesn't look it.
And now for coffee...

May 25th
Blah.
I thought I would run in for a second and post something....er...I have nothing to really post.
Belly dancing. Some of you might remember me blah blah blahing about trying to learn few years ago. At that point in time, I was able to do about three moves. It's something I'm hoping to be able to start re-learning soon.
I say soon, because since the knee injury last year, I still can't bend proper at the knees, and my balance is still off. I have to admit, I've been too scared to even try knelling yet, may never be able to kneel proper again.
But, keeping positive...I'm hoping that in time I'll be able to get back to some of the basics I was learning with the belly dancing.
My physio therapist after my car accident few years ago suggested it to help with my back.
Well, that's a short post for everyone tonight.

Returns
Always great to see Abyss on tv. I was just catching up with TNA for the last couple of weeks, and it's about frealing time that they brought back the Abyss character. Will be interesting to see what sort of storyline they pull out of their arses to explain him being gone. Maybe they will go with the split personality, which I would love.
And by now, everyone has seen the return of Chris Sabin! I've already posted about that on my wrestling blog the other day. (here dude here)
Seriously, that's all I have to say right now.

I would be remiss if I didn't point you to the latest spotlight over on the WWE website. Normally, I don't even bother to check, as I really don't give a crap about the spotlights, BUT today I saw something worth my time.
VAMPIRO. Yes, there is a new it would seem, profile on the WWE alumni WCW page, for Vampiro. A few short videos and a few photos. They need more damn it!
Just a bit of a geek out fang-girl... er fangirl but you already knew that.
They also have some other dudes who I have no idea who the hell they are in a vampire pack, but I zipped through that to the Vampiro stuff. Okay, that's a bit of a lie, I know who Classy Freddy Blassie is/was. But to be honest, wasn't watching WWE during the years the other ones were there so... anyways, we need more Vampiro in our life. Or at lest I do.
I think I geeked out enough for one post.

Wed April 24
I am bad. I have like 5 days left to get my taxes done and I still haven't done them. I'll be scrambling tomorrow to do so I know it.
Just got back from the dentist. Fun. I always come back from there sick from the freezing needle with a migraine. I have no idea why that is, just is. And can someone tell my why it is that waiting for that needle to take effect always takes longer then the actual filling? I suppose that's a good thing when you really think about it. Means the filling was a small one.
Okay, just thought I'd come in and ramble a bit considering my mouth is frozen still and I'm drooling like a freak and can't actually talk at the moment.
Makes you wonder why anyone would willingly get botox done when you know the freezing makes you a drooling idiot?

Well, that's stupid
So I was chugging along, talking to a few people on GetGlue about random crap, and someone was talking about how wrestler Edge was cornered by TMZ and asked about dogs in pantyhose?
What? Really? Why?
I'm shaking my head at that one. Pointless very pointless, both asking about it and the fact people are doing that.
I mean man, I've made a name for myself by asking wrestlers stupid questions, but it's about wrestling. Like how does Chris Sabin get that hang time on his hesitation drop kick? or who picks the theme music the wrestlers come out to? or who designs their t-shirts, or you know how much beer does the Cowboy James Storm really drink per episode? You know, proper stuff. But wrestling related just the same.
Makes you wonder what this world is really coming to?

Snow snow and more snow
Seriously? It's suppose to be like what 3 weeks into spring and all we've had here is snow.
Really starting to think that the seasons have gotten themselves confused.
Okay, my lovely Spudguns! I've spent some time last week on the wrestling blog, blogging about WWE. So if you want to read it here you go.
Other then that, I've been drowning in footwear. No, not really, but that quote from Buffy the Vampire Slayer has been stuck in my head. I've been writing. Oh my god! I know eh?
I've let everything else fall into a pit of darkness while I throw myself into the latest novel. Feels good. Like that perfect sweater or something.
I really need to catch up with the last 3 weeks of TNA though. That seems to be happening a lot lately. Getting behind on it. Part because I still have to rely on the Spike site to see the show, and part because I am me.
Okay, now off to have a coffee while I'm on my coffin break, then back to work on the novel.

I am slowly going crazy
Internet issues once again today. Given me a bit of a headache.
So, I have been writing the last week. Maybe I should have made this another "wrestling with writer's block" post? Or you know, not. Given I have finally it would seem, gotten out of the blockage.
There is still a nasty smell coming from the wall. Yes, the wall. I don't even want to know what might be the cause of it.
Yesterday was like a scene out of the movie Secret Window. The Johnny Depp movie based on the Stephen King novel. If you haven't seen the movie, there is a scene in the beginning when he's writing and unhappy with the stuff he's just written and deletes it, then writes some more, then deletes that too.
I was having one of those yesterday. Over and over again. The only difference is that in the movie he has his dog to talk to about the scene, and I had no one.
Well, that's enough babbling for now. Coffee...

Friday 29th 2013 March
GGGGRRRRR!
It's been one of those days, where nothing has gone well. You know the days, when odd smells overtake the place no matter what you clean, and strange emails that are listed from your account show up, even though you know none are from you... one of those.
Yeah, I hate when I log into my emails and find spam listing from myself. Upsets me, and creeps me out. The few people who do still talk to me via email must be pissed as much as I am.
And the smell. For the last few weeks, every time the heater kicks in there is this horrible fried chicken smell. And it takes hours for it to go away, even after the heater is turned back off. It's like it's coming from the vents and pipes. I really don't even want to know what is truly causing it.
So, it's a holiday weekend here. Which means everything is closed until Tuesday. Long weekend.
Okay, I'm going to get a coffee while I try to find a strong enough perfume or incense to cover up this smell. And if that doesn't work, I might have to find some holy water to spray the wall and heater.

Sunday 4something PM
Lovely, spent the afternoon between playing a vampire video game that was turned into a movie, and watching a vampire movie about a video game.
Did you get that?
I'm not a big gamer at all, I have like 4 games all on PS2. Yeah, they're old. I got my machine on clearance like the last few months before they sort of became extinct.
I'm a binge player. I can go six or seven months sometimes without turning on the machine, then play for like a week straight. Clears my head.
So it put me in the mood for the movie Stay Alive which is what today's vampire of the day was on my vampire blog. Day 50.
Yeah, I'm going to be well into 2014 with the vampire project already. I don't even want to do the math on how long over the deadline, but such is life such is rock n roll.
P.S. the video game I'm playing is BloodRayne 2. Love the game, hated the movies.

Snow?
It's been snowing off and on here for the last few days. It's spring in two days, and there is wild whips of snow/freezing rain in our area. Totally sucks. Been dealing with some horrible sinus headaches and migraines because of the weather.
Little upset I never made it out to see Dead Man Down, at the cinema. Three different times I had made plans to go, but things got in the way. Two of those days were bad icy weather.
Some of you my dear Spudguns, had been following my progress last year on my movie blog when I challenged myself to watch one different movie a day for the year. You know I had fun on it, and decided to do a second year, this time an all vampire year. Which I've been doing on my vampire blog. This year has not gone as smooth as I had hoped. I think I might have mentioned that already this year. I've lost track of the original goal more than once.
The plan was to do this second year all vamp, then get back to a different movie a day for next year.
Cause, yeah this is what happens when your health keeps you indoors a lot, you watch movies.

Weekend of a ppv
I know I came in midweek and gave my ppv note, but for anyone who might have missed it because they weren't looking earlier this week...
If you're part of this weekend's TNA ppv, STAY SAFE!
Specially since it's a cage match style. If you are one of the wrestlers, or crew who has to be building the set, or lighting or what have you, stay safe.

Tuesday March 5th
I just spent the last few hours trying to catch up with the last few weeks of TNA. Everything is a bit hazy after seeing Austin Aries in the disco shorts. Always a good thing.
The X-Division is still lacking as far as I am concerned.
Last week's book club, once again a disappointment. And I'm still having a few bad dreams since reading that book.
Really, there isn't a lot to talk about tonight, just thought I would send a quick note since it's been over a week.
I know that there is a TNA ppv this coming weekend. The year's big cage match ppv. And my lovely Spudguns, you might also remember that I really don't like those types of matches or ppvs. They unnerve me.
But, with that said, and with the fact that usually the episode for the week leading up to the ppv is posted after the ppv, and I don't get to find out who is scheduled, therefore one of the two reasons that keeps me from ordering the ppv (the other is I'm poor) ... I will give a midweek ... prayer might not be the right word. Love note maybe a better term.
To everyone who is going to be part of the TNA ppv this weekend, STAY SAFE!!! Be you crew or talent, please stay safe specially since it is a cage themed pay-per-view.

Intense
I finished reading American Psycho and am getting ready for today's book club. All I can say is don't eat when reading this book.
I posted my thoughts on this actually on the movie blog last night
I honestly don't know if I could sit through that book again or not? I liked it, but it's extreme. Thinking about it this morning, going over things I want to discuss in book club later, I keep coming back to the fact that if I had read this when I was in high school or college, it would have taken a different tone for me. I think I would have been able to stomach more of the extreme elements easier. I've admitted this before not too long ago, I've lost my taste for horror in the the last few years.
I still love a good Nightmare on Elm Street movie or a good Hellraiser film, but I really don't much care for the type of stuff that's come out in the last few years. And this book is intense.
I do realize this book is twenty years old, and for some people it's just toast.
Anyways, coffee then off to book club.

Wed Feb 13th
So I just caught up with the last few weeks of TNA Impact, and if you've been following me for any amount of time, my Spudguns!, you know I've been unhappy with how my team has turned in the last while.
I was happy to see Austin Aries and Robert Roode win the tag belts. That I frealing loved! Now, normally I like all four of the wrestlers that were part of that match (last week's episode of Feb 7th 2013) and you all know by now Mr. Aries is really the only thing still keeping me faithful to TNA on any account; but that match dragged for me. Don't know what to say about it. I know everyone has a bad night, and maybe the two teams just weren't feeling it, or maybe it was the arena or whatever, could have been the way it translated to tv. All I know is that while watching it, there was no energy for me. At lest not until the last minute and a half of the match when Roode left and returned then the energy shifted and the match started to feel like a match.
The X-Division match. I never thought I'd ever find myself cheering for Zema Ion, but I really wanted to see him get that X-belt. Ion has become the one I'm putting my money into, to get the X-Division back on track. So Mr. Ion, pay attention and figure out how to do so. Damn it!
And this new guy, Rockstar Spud. Hum... he's British and under 6-foot. I like him already. If he helps to save my X-Division then he'll have my vote.

Year of the Snake
Today marks the Chinese New Year, and we'll be in the year of the Water Snake for 2013.
I'm really not too sure what that entails. For all the books and research I've come across, I'm not finding much detail on this. Just the same few lines being repeated over and over again. What I keep coming across is this is a year of insight and motivation, and getting your desires.
I'm guessing it's going to be a pretty damn good year for many people.
With that said, Happy New Year

Blood is the life
Hehehehehe.... yeah feeling a bit on the weird side. Then again, when am I not?
It's the middle of the week, and I just spent the last two hours watching the wrong movie. I feel stupid. I had what I thought was a vampire movie and was going to cover it for the vampire challenge, but it ended up being about a crazy dude who kills his wife.
Now, I need to dig through my box of movies and find something else.
Valentines is next week. A time of year that I always try to avoid. I just don't understand why the general population continues to celebrate a day devoted to being mushy, then slack off the rest of the time?
If you love someone you shouldn't have to have an excuse to show it.
And that would be my rant for the hour. I'm off to make a coffee and find today's daily vampire.

oh my it's February
Two weeks. Two full weeks since I blogged on here. That's a first for me.
I'm shocked at myself.
So moving on, I've been busy over on the vampire blog, doing the year long self induced vampire challenge, and writing up the weekly updates on the movie blog for those of you Spudguns who have been following the movie blog for the last year.
Book club, is reading American Psycho right now.
And the last few days, I've been working on an element of the vampire challenge. All I'm going to say for now on that, cause every time I get excited about something and blog about it, it falls to pieces on me.
The first few weeks of the new year flew by. It feels like I blinked and I missed it.
Okay, with that said, coffee now.

Haunted house again?
I just got back from having been at my mom's for a few days, and when I came in turned on the lights, the heat and fired up the internet, I started to hear this sound.
We're knee deep in snow around here, so I was thinking it was just someone outside with a snowblower. Then I realized the sound was coming from in the apartment. Not just the building, but my hovel.
My fridge sounds like a snowblower -lawn mower.
This is not good. I really can't have it break down on me. The landlord never fixes anything around here, so a broken fridge would be the last straw.
and for some reason, the heater is sending out cold air.
Anyone who has been reading me for any length of time, knows that since these landlords took over our building it's gone to dren. And I would move if I could afford to, but I can't. I'm on disability because of my injuries. Which means, I have to wait for the city to find me a new place to live and move me. Sucks to be me.
I've been on a wait list for three years. Which since last May, is a moot ...mute...mmm.. whatever point.
The city had major floodings last spring, destroying half of the apartments in the area. We are a city in need of homes.
I'm extremely lucky to have my hovel. My second floor slum. As much as I bitch about where I live, at lest I have a place to live.
And you know what, I am grateful. In the world we live in today, so many of us take things for granted and forget that at any second things can just be wiped out of our lives.

As I believe it is the day before another TNA ppv.
Once again, I have not seen this past week's episode, therefore don't know who's going to be on the schedule, and doesn't look like I will get to see the ppv.
but, never the less, I have never let that stop me from saying to all the wrestlers and crew who are part of it, To STAY SAFE.
To any and all the TNA crew and wrestlers, be you lighting, pyrotechnician, announcer, camera, or in ring talent; STAY SAFE!

Vampires, vampires, vampires! That's where my mind is right now.
Almost a full week into the vampire challenge. So far so good. Weekly updates on Fridays over on the movie blog.
Honestly, not a lot to blog about at the moment. Things used to be so much more interesting, but the last few months have been nothing but silence.
I come in here lately to post something and I always feel rushed. Like I'm racing against time before my few loyal Spudguns! rush off to work or whatever it is you do all day. Like a guilty secret or something at coffee break.
Anyways, at the moment, I'm battling a bit of a cold. Nose is running no matter what I do. Which makes everything seem like walking through mud.
Think it's time to make a big mug of tea and delve into the next round of vampire shows for the challenge. Maybe tomorrow I'll catch up on my TNA...two weeks behind again.

Happy New Year!
I have been blogging like madness today. If you have been following my one movie a day blog, then you know I completed my self induced nightmare yesterday. Yes! I actually managed to get it finished. Yay me!
And today, started the year long vampire blogging challenge over on my current all vampire blog.
I did 2 challenge items - 3 posts including the "intro" to the challenge.
And back on the movie blog... a short post for the movie club.
Now, I'm also signed up for countless book challenges for the year. PLUS, my own book clubs. Can she see the top of the pool folks? I might be drowning in my own over eagerness to have a better year then last year.
All I know is that it is 7pm right now, and I have a ton of stuff to complete before bed. I'm going to brave the still lingering holiday cinema crowds tomorrow to see The Hobbit while the city still has some matinees.
And yes, I have gone on record before saying I did not care for the Lord of the Rings films. But, this looks good, and it's got Richard Armitage, Aidan Turner, Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman in it.
I could watch Richard Armitage and Aidan Turner for days. Now, that's a tag team. .....Armitage reminds me a lot of wrestler Wade Barrett
